Tchaikovsky Symphony 4 Silvestri UK HMV ASD 253
On this extremely rare record, the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Constantin Silvestri performs the Tchaikovsky “Symphony No. 4. An English stereo pressing on the HMV Label (ASD 253), the labels are cream with a gold border and stereophonic, plum lettering and a small shaded dog logo. The record has some small marks near the start of side one. These click softly for 12 or so revolutions and them loudly for 10 more. Otherwise the record is of excellent appearance and plays and sounds superb with occasional low-level surface noise. The cover has rubbed a little with minor wear only.
