Tilicheev accompanied Ivan Semenovich Kozlovsky, Galina Ulanova, Tamara Zhuravleva, Alexander Pokrovsky, he taught and gave concerts, he was friend with Maria Veniaminovna Yudina, and Elena Fabianovna Gnessin, He was the personification of the Russian school of pianism.
