Description

An original 1st press of BIG CHAIR on UK Mercury. Matrix A2/B2. "Made In England". The vinyl comes housed in a 1st issue cover. There's also the original bespoke inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In superb condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side - nothing heavy or troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with super clarity. Can't really imagine finding a better playing copy - it is absolute spot on. Plays clean throughout even into those quiet jazzy breaks. All I could make out was a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. A cracking rendition of this eighties classic. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex-) very nice and flat and clean - without any sign of creasing. There's only very minor edge wear in a couple of spots and nice sharp openings. The spine has slightest wear - text 90% legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A super specimen.
Inner (Vg+) Looking a lot tidier than other specimens. Light handling one side wear. One inch split at top of one side - tape repaired internally [minor cosmetic].
