Tears For Fears - The Seeds of Love Vinyl LP, Mastered at Abbey Road Studios - Half Speed Mastering, Rare, Limited Numbers. Catalogue number: ARHSLP013
A copy of Tears For Fears third studio album, The Seeds of Love originally released back in 1989 on Fontana records. This is a Abbey Road Half-Speed Mastering re-issue, released back in 2023 by Universal Music. It appears that this was released in very limited low numbers, not released or withdrawn given how scarce copies of these are - however, the catalogue number of this item follows the re-issue in the same series as their debut album The Hurting, which was ARHSLP011.
As you'd expect with this Abbey Road Studios - Half Speed Mastering series, the re-mastering here is just incredible, with such a wide and clear sound to it - honestly, I've never heard 'Woman in Chains' so good! I did briefly have a copy of the 2020 pressing which I wasn't happy with at the time at all, so pleased to have now discovered this 'under-the-radar' version.
**Please note - it is a new, sealed copy which is listed for sale here. I have several copies of this album, one in my personal collection. All photo's on this listing (except for the sealed front and back cover), are of my own copy, just to show what this album release is like.
The single LP album is housed in a gatefold sleeve wth both song lyrics and credits inside the cover. The vinyl come in an additional inner sleeve, along with a Mastered at Abbey Road Studios certificate to confirm its authenticity. Just to mention, etched on the runout is 'MILES ABBEY ROAD 1/2 SPEED ROOM 50' which I've tried to show in one of the photo's.
Given it's a sealed copy, it's offered in an assumed Mint condition. It has no visible corner dents or dings.
