Uncommon promotional AUDIOPHILE TEST SET  NEW UNPLAYED  condition

 

 

Circa 1980 (issued)  4 x 12" discs 1st issue thus

Discs made in Japan by Teichiku Records Co. Ltd., and Nippon Phonogram, overall planning and production by Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd., and Nippon Phonogram Co. Ltd.; issued as a 4 volume set circa 1980 in a very limited promotional edition by Technics, with notation ‘Not for Sale’ throughout.

All 4 LPs indistinguishable from NEW with no scratches, marks or defects whatsoever, obviously unplayed, and I have resisted the temptation to play them; with perfect original poly inner sleeves and printed inserts and perfect printed card sleeves with no damage or marking. Each volume contained in a polythene envelope. 

The hinged case has no loss or major damage, the hinge is intact but the paper is split - see the final picture. With this exception the set is as issued.
