TED CHESNUT: My Mother Was a Lady/The Letter From Home (Gennett Electrobeam 6480) with Asa Martin on guitar and fiddle by Doc Roberts; recorded in Richmond, IN in 1928.Letter side plays V+ or better; other side is very rough for first third of side with stripped grooves, then plays V+.
I’m helping a friend auction off his collection of fine old time, blues and ethnic 78s. There are some wonderful records, so check my other listings and keep checking back. Due to my schedule these listings will be spread over several weeks time.
