Description
This is Prestige Records LP 7078, Teddy Charles Groups Evolution, a yellow, deep groove, 446 W. 50th St., NYC label, original mono issue,with RVG etched in the dead wax, featuring two all-star sessions with J R Monterose and Charles Mingus or Jimmy Giuffre and Shorty Rogers. The record is in VG++ condition, showing only light signs of wear and playing quietly throughout. The laminated cover has a water stain on the back but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent as well with only light spindle marks. The record has been cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. An excellent collector's grade copy of this rare original issue. This is part of a large jazz collection I will be posting over the next few months.
