Excellent copy of The Undertones’ first single on the Belfast-based Good Vibrations label.
4 superb tracks from 1978.
Comes in its ‘cheapo’ wrap-around sleeve, this time in white (there were a few variants).
4-track EP pressed in Ireland.
This record itself is no longer shiny or glossy but somewhat dull in appearance; that said it plays perfectly ! No skips, jumps or heavy scratches. There is some surface noise between tracks but that’s all. I’m sure once cleaned it will appear even better and I will update this listing when that task has been done. It hasn’t seen so much as a cloth in almost 45 years.
The ‘sleeve’, such as it is, is in fine condition but as you can see in the photos is a little ruffled along the top, where it was exposed owing to its size. Comes with its original plain white inner.
A superb example for punk collectors.
This is a first, Irish pressing of the title, which would later be reissued on Sire. Note the band is credited as “Undertones” on the label minus the definite article.
