Description
This is the FIRST PRESSING of the Television Personalities 3rd LP 'They could have been bigger than the Beatles'. I have owned this LP since I bought it in 1982 and it has been stored for the last 40 years.
The cover is original and comes with the Blue 'Whaam Records' hype label. The cover looks like it is hand painted with two green spots/fake holes. Each cover was individually painted, apparently. The cover also has some 'brown marks' on it and I can't remember if that's how the cover originally came or whether they are age related.
I bought the LP when at college, but I didn't have a record player at the time. So, not too sure if it has ever been played that much but I tend to think it has not. The vinyl looks in excellent condition.
On the runouts it has the following:
Matrix / Runout (Runout A etched): MPO WHAM 5 A BIG 5 A1 A PORKY PRIME CUT . I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PATRICK MCGOOHANS ESCAPE .Matrix / Runout (Runout B etched): MPO WHAM 5 B1 BIG 5 B1 A PORKY PRIME CUT . ILL THINK OF SOMETHING LATER .
