Description
A brand new, never played copy of "The Blow Up" by Television, the legendary live recording that was originally released as a cassette tape ONLY from ROIR in 1982. I think this was the first vinyl album release from ROIR of their original cassette recordings. Originally recorded in 1978, these tracks have all been digitally remastered for this release. Contains 14 blistering tracks by the original line-up, Tom Verlaine, Richard Lloyd, Billy Ficca & Fred Smith. All the big tunes from their first album plus a couple of cover versions, Dylan's "Knocking on Heaven's Door" & the Stones "Satisfaction" along with a 15' version of their first big hit "Little Johnny Jewel", a hard to find recording, & a 15' version of "Marquee Moon". Awesome guitar work from axe men Tom & Richard, I think these versions are better than the originals. Pressed on see-through blue & green vinyl & comes with the original sticker from the album front. Very slight corner dings to the bottom corners.
