TEN YEARS AFTER: STONEDHENGE
I will try my best to describe this record as honestly as possible. Photographs are included to help you assess condition and value. I accept that sometime issues like "sound quality" can be subjective so I offer a no quibble return policy if your purchase does not meet your expectations.
Overview: UK 1st stereo pressing from 1969. The first issue laminated gate-fold, printed by Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve is in excellent condition, as is the blue and white poly lined inner. This record belonged to a friend of mine who transferred the album to reel to reel tape and archived the record. It has not been played more than five or six times - so in short, it is excellent. Sleeve: The laminated gate-fold sleeve made by Garrod and Lofthouse is remarkably well preserved for a sleeve of this vintage and conservatively rates EX. You will be hard pressed to find better. Vinyl: Visually very clean and rates at least EX+, it looks barely played. Audio side 1 is EX+ and is pretty much flawless, side 2 has many quiet and virtually silent moments and some very minor surface noise can occasionally be heard and there is around three or four very light, "ticks", to be honest I've heard brand new albums not sounding as good, but I'll rate side two as Ex, to hedge on the side of caution.
Labels: Barely any signs of wear. EX+.
Inner sleeve: Poly lined, excellent, clean with no rips or splits. It appears original. Ex+
The record will be posted out in a professional cruciform mailer (pizza box style) with corrugated card stiffeners. The disc will be removed from the outer sleeve prior to shipping. If the inner sleeve is original, I will put the disc in a generic sleeve to avoid damage to the original. The album will also be housed in a PVC protective sleeve.
I don't spend all day hooked up to my computer but will guarantee to answer any questions within 24 hours.
