  For sale is Ten Years After's Stonehenge, originally released in 1969 by Deram Records with a gate-fold presentation. In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks is etched " Bell Sound"  and "MR" inside a circle, followed by the matrix numbers 1-C/1-C, signifying that the record was mastered at Bell Sound Studios, N.Y.C. before an early stamper was used to make this album at Monarch Record Manufacturing Company's pressing plant located in Los Angeles, California. These are all hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. I bought this record used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into a MFSL archival inner sleeve. This protects the integrity of the vinyl and any inner sleeve(s) or insert(s) that may have come with the release. The inner sleeve is Excellent with a bent corner and some wrinkles. The cover is graded as VG+ because of ring wear, edge rubs, corner blunts stress cracks along the spine. The spine has color loss at the corners from blunts and along the edges from blunts. The vinyl is graded as Near Mint Minus because of very faint sleeve marks. I'm play grading it as Near Mint. This is the best copy of this rare album that I have ever seen or heard. You would be hard pressed to find a first pressing in this condition. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.    I've been collecting records for about 50 years now and have always cleaned them and put them away carefully in plastic inner sleeves. Over the years I've used Dust Bugs, Disc Washers and have finally invested in a professional VPI record cleaning machine. Now that I'm retiring, I'm selling my very esoteric collection.
