Terje Rypdal ORIG GER LP Blue NM ’87 ECM 1346 Post Bop Jazz Fusion
Original German LP released in 1987 on ECM Records. Cat: ECM 1346.Terje Rypdal's all too short-lived rock band the Chasers played like a jazz trio a jazz trio that always pushed the barrier to achieve the visceral punch of rock. They could be funky as hell (note the dirtyass slow groove on "Kompet Gär"), terrifyingly experimental ("Og Hva Synes Vi Om Det"), cinematically bold ("Om Bare"), or wonderfully meditative and tender ("Blue"). That they could do all these things on recording and still seek the sound barrier as a band was an achievement equaled by few.
Tracks: The curse/ Kompet gar/ I disremember quite well/ Og hva synes vi om det/ Last nite/ Blue/ Tanga/ Om bare.
There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has a few light scuff marks and is in Near Mint condition. Cover has a few tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
Post method for overseas: All parcels are sent via Australia Post and are sent on a standard airmail service. There are no tracking numbers on these items. If you require a tracking number the item will have to be sent as an insured item which incurs a further postage fee.
