The copy for auction here is still factory sealed from new from 1981.

Believe me Juarez by Terry Allen is one of the most underrated albums of the last 50 years, its is like a film noir road trip played out along the mexico/U.S border.

If you are prepared to put some effort into this album play it many times and let it unfold naturally the storyline and the characters become cinematic.

Its hard to over praise it, i must have played either my other open copy or the CD over 200 times.

Hard to describe the music its desert rock folk rock border music tex mex and is a work of absolute genius.

It was originally released in the U.S in 1975 on the Landfall label with a limited run of only 1000. These copies are impossible to find now.

The copy for auction here is the later U.S 1981 press on the Fate label and is still factory sealed fron new.

The lyrics are printed on the back cover.
