Test Pressing – ANSERMET – STRAVINSKY: FIREBIRD
2 single-sided stereo test pressings with pink/blue labels (see photos). The No. CS 6017 stamped on the labels indicates a London issue with catalogue number CS 6017. The corresponding Decca catalogue number is SXL 2017. The matrix numbers ZAL 2622-3E and ZAL 2623-4E. Ernest Ansermet conducting L’Orchestre de Suisse Romande in Stravinsky’s ballet The Firebird.
Side 1 has occasional light marks and 14/15 light ticks. Side 2 has no visible marks; we have not played it.
