Test Pressing – ASD 584 – BLOCH: VIOLIN CONCERTO – MENUHIN / KLETZKI
2 single-sided white-label HMV test pressings (see photos). HMV 1963 stereo recording catalogue no. ASD 584. Yehudi Menuhin playing Bloch’s Concerto for Violin and Orchestra with Paul Kletzki conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra.
The 2 discs are clean and shiny. Side 1 has no visible marks; we have not played it. Side 2 has a very faint smudge mark; we could only hear 2 very faint ticks between tracks 1 & 2. The commercial sleeve has edge/corner wear/creasing.
