Description
This is a white label, 180gm test pressing, double-album, black vinyl copy of Bob Dylan's seventh album, "Blonde On Blonde", first released in 1966 and then re-issued in 1999 on the Simply Vinyl record label (SVLP 063). It comes housed in a plain white card sleeve with the album name written on the sleeve in black marker pen.
It is my understanding that there are only 10 test pressings ever made of each record and that they are only given to the label and mastering facility for quality control purposes. Some are then sent to shops as promotional copies. I won this record in 1999 in a competition in the long defunct record collector magazine, Record Mart and Buyer.
It has never been played and has only been taken out of its cover for me to take the photograph you see above.
