Legendary recordings by Texas Blues giant Sam "Lightnin" Hopkins. Original Jax records 78 in great playing condition. Recorded at the ACA Studio in Houston Texas 1950/51; Lightnin' Hopkins, voc, gtr, tap dancing#; with Donald Cooks, bs.
artist: Lightnin' Hopkins titles: Tap Dance Boogie# / You Caused My Heart To Weep label: Jax -642 year: 1950 dead wax: J 479 / J 478 condition: (grading is from 1 to 10 with 10 being new) visually: 5 out of 10 (actually it's a nice clean E/8 out of 10 copy but both sides have some sort of heat marks (not sure if this happened at pressing or later) but it doesn't effect play too much (mostly on the end of Weep side). plays: 7 to 8 out of 10 (great player) note: the picture of Lightnin' is NOT included
The discs has wear but is not a bad player at all!
