THE COMPLETE BLUE NOTE / UA / ROULETTE RECORDINGS OF THAD JONES, Mosaic MQ5-172, 5 heavyweight "Q" LP's with booklet, #2669 of a limited edition of 7500.
This magnificent set from Mosaic contains 27 tracks recorded 1956-1960. The musicians are Thad Jones (trumpet), Benny Powell, Al Grey (trombone), Gigi Gryce (alto sax), Frank Wess (flute, alto & tenor sax), Billy Mitchell (tenor sax), Tommy Flanagan, Barry Harris, Hank Jones (piano), Kenny Burrell (guitar), Oscar Pettiford, Eddie Jones, Percy Heath, George Duvivier, Paul Chambers, Richard Davis (bass), Shadow Wilson, Elvin Jones, Max Roach, Osie Johnson (drums).
The tunes are Tariff, Blue Room, Little Girl Blue, Scratch, Zee, Something To Remember You By, Thedia, April in Paris, I've Got a Crush On You, Billie Doo, If I Love Again, If Someone Had Told Me, Slipped Again, Going Off Stage, Let's, Ill Wind, Thadrack, Let's Play One, Minor On Top, Like Old Times, No Refill, Subtle Rebuttal, Tip Toe, H & T Blues, Friday the 13th.
Condition of records is E+, no scuffs, no scratches, a couple of spindle marks, all play clean & quiet. The box is very clean - there are no broken corners, no seam splits, no ring wear. Booklet shows slight evidence of handling.

We play grade all of our records on quality equipment. We offer a money back guarantee that condition is as described. Plus (+) or Minus (-) indicates variations.
M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
