A fantastic and rare discovery of one of the great promotional compilation albums from the sixties. This is a follow-up to the hugely successful "Rock Machine Turns You On" from CBS records, and contains some of the great names of rock before they became big: Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Spirit, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Janis Joplin and others. This particular German pressed copy has been produced in a multi-coloured plastic and appears to have only one serious mark on part of the last track of side two, "You Don't Love Me" Bloomfield, Kooper & Stills. One label has the single name 'Lee'  written on it and the inner CBS promotional sleeve reads like a Who's Who of sixties rock. If you collected all those albums you would definitely understand why we went crazy all those years ago. The outer cover is in remarkably good condition with only a reasonable amount of corner wear and a little creasing. At some point someone has re-inforced the spine with as carefully placed strip of tape as I've ever seen and that has served well.

A great copy of a rare album for any collector.
