Here I have for sale an original 1st pressing vinyl record of the 1967 seminal psychedelic masterpiece, Easter Everywhere by the 13th Floor Elevators from Texas. As you can see from the pictures the sleeve has definitely seen better days, but surprisingly it still holds together after 50 years. Yeah this album came out 50 years ago exactly, by sometime in November I believe. The record also looks kinda rough with a few feelable scratches and some superficial scuffs and scratches. However the record plays fine with some crackling and surface noise without any skips or loops. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised when you listen to it. I honestly didn't wanna sell it, but I need the money. This is a pretty rare record to find and is essential for any psychedelic collection. I will provide further details below. Please read below. Cover/Sleeve: The cover sleeve I would grade as Good. As you can see from the pictures, the sleeve has a lot of ringwear, that in my personal opinion I believe doesn't look as bad on this album and rather adds some charm if you consider the sun in the center. It also unfortunately has some ripping at the bottom edge of the sleeve both in the front and back. Probably from some slight water damage. It was already like that when I got it a few years ago. There is a slight warp to the sleeve, probably because of that. On the bright side (no pun intended), the sleeve is still holding itself together. There are no seam splits. No writing, stickers or tape either.

Record: I would grade the record as Good+. Visually it has some scratches and scuffs mostly superficial and few feelable ones. There is still some shine to the record. Labels are clean without writing or stickers. Fortunately the record plays better than it looks. While there is some audible crackling almost throughout the whole album, the music really shines and comes through. The crackling and soft surface noise stays in the background and in between songs. There are also a few pops and tics, probably produced from the few feelable scratches I mentioned. As I mentioned before it does not skip or get stuck. Plays through and sounds pretty good considering what it looks like and that its a 13th floor elevators record. If it wasn't for the feelable scratches that cause the pops and brief tics, I would say this record could be a solid VG.  Also please keep in mind that this album was recorded kinda lofi, so it won't sound as loud and clear as say a decent condition Beatles album. You will have to raise the volume on your amp a bit to get a louder sound, based on the way the album was mastered. Consequently the album has good dynamics and when you raise the volume...man....it ROCKS!!

This is the closest you'll get to the true sound of this album, since most reissues come from a tape with a different mix produced in the 70s or a digital needledrop. This is the original 1967 stereo mix. Unfortunately it does not come with the cool and very limited lyric sheet.
