Album: Ghetto: Misfortune's Wealth
Description: 1973 stereo first pressing of this album, a grail in soul collecting circles. This particular one is still in the original shrink wrap with the very rare Wattstax hype sticker still attached and the Wattstax inner sleeve. The music here is fantastic - in parts dramatic, in parts joyous. A mix of funk and soul with a little bit of a psychedelic feel.
Sleeve Condition: NM, the sleeve is fantastic. No noticeable wear at all. The corners are sharp, the colors are great, no wrinkles. Cellophane is open at one end, but otherwise tight with no holes or tears. Inner sleeve has a bit of wrinkling, but no tears or splits.
Vinyl Condition: VG++/NM, Disc is in fantastic shape with no real wear at all. Very clean and shiny. Black labels look fantastic. Play tested in spots & it plays well with really good sound no play issues at all. This simply can't have been played more than a few times. There are a couple of scattered very light scuffs visible in direct light. Nothing that affects play and they barely affect it cosmetically. Some people would look at this and call it NM, some collectors would call it VG++, just one tick below NM. It's right on that line. Very clean and very high grade. You'd be hard pressed to find a nicer copy than this one.
