The 31st Of February - (Self Titled) Vinyl Original 1st UK Pressing
Incredibly rare 60's Psychedelic/Prog album; hardly ever turns up for sale on eBay. Its rarity in combination with the great music it holds makes this piece incredibly desirable among collectors - so here is (finally!) an opportunity to aquire one. As you can imagine, i'm selling this with much reluctance!
Rare albums like this one have been brought back to the shelves via the 180g reissue frenzy that has taken place over the last few years or so. This album was not pressed in huge quantities on release, so there has been a particular effort to repress this. However, you are looking at the genuine article - the original 1st UK pressing - which we all know can't be beaten by any reissue in terms of production quality.
A genuinely rare piece.
Cover: VG: for what is a naturally delicate cover, this holds up reasonably well. Structurally sound and fully useable. As expected, the usual signs of storage wear, and some light foxing at the edges. A 'sticker-removal' mark to the top right, and a crease to the top left. Spine is very reasonable, and remains fully legible. Other general signs of ageing to the back, although it must be said that theres nothing too drastic in my opinion. No horrible splits or tears. The aesthetic of the artwork is still nice and clear (no major fading), nor is there any writing. Overall, a very respectable example of this cover.
Vinyl: VG+: Nice glossy playing surface that retains a lovely sheen. Nice condition all round, barring one light scuff on side 1 (as pictured). Not deep at all, and is only cosmetic. Otherwise a very nice example, especially for its age. No major marks of concern. Nice copy!
I will send this well-packed with a professional mailer, using stiffeners and bubble wrap. I will use Royal Mail with some sort of tracking/'signed for' scheme.
Thank you
