Description

The Action – Baby You've Got It 1966 UK Parlophone R 5474 7" 45rpm Rock, Beat                                       
The original printed Parlophone paper sleeve shows plenty of age related handling and storage wear. It does have some creasing and there are some small tears and splits around the entry edge. Graded as G only. 


The vinyl easily and conservatively grades as VG. It has been played. The original four prong centre and the Parlophone labels are fairly clean. The name 'J Connolly' has been printed on Side A in a dark coloured pencil or pen and is therefore not immediately visible. Both sides have the usual 'Sold in the UK' text and the KT tax code can be seen on Side B. Spindle marks are apparent and there is a crease in the label on Side A  which was probably caused during manufacture. Despite the fact that it has been played there are no deep scratches that can be felt. There are numerous light hairlines, scuffs and the odd finger mark. There is a faint 'scratch' which runs right across Side B but this cannot be felt and does not have any impact on play. Indeed the track on the B Side is fairly quiet and this mark cannot be detected during playback at all. On play grading there was naturally static and crackle on the run in and run out on both sides and some deterioration in the audio quality but nothing which impacts on enjoyment of the record as a whole. Definitely not an archive copy of this very rare record but one which will suffice until that comes along!!
