Up for auction is an incredibly rare, definitive holy grail of the 1960s British Mod, Freakbeat, and Northern Soul scenes. Finding an original UK Parlophone copy of this legendary double-sider is difficult enough, but this particular copy features the genuine, original red-and-white EMI "Factory Sample - Not For Sale" sticker affixed directly to the "Hey Sah-Lo-Ney" center label.
These stickered copies were pulled from the absolute earliest batch of the initial pressing run for quality control and promotional review purposes, ensuring spectacular, crisp audio dynamics.
**MATRIX IDENTIFIERS (STAMPED IN DEAD WAX):** * Side A: 7XCE 18703-1 * Side B: 7XCE 18704-1
**DETAILED CONDITION REPORT:** * **Visual Grade:** Visually graded as a solid Very Good (VG+) under direct light. * **Vinyl Gloss & Luster:** Excellent. The vinyl has been gently cleaned and retains a spectacular, deep original mirror-gloss finish across both sides. It presents beautifully. * **Vinyl Play Surface:** Under strong direct light, there are visible surface light hairline handling marks (predominantly on the Side A run-out area and across the grooves of Side B). These are superficial hairline marks and paper scuffs; there are no deep, gray, feelable scratches that would cause a needle to jump or skip. * **Labels:** Excellent condition. The black-and-silver Parlophone label is crisp with light spindle wear. The reverse side proudly features the highly sought-after original "Factory Sample" sticker completely intact, flat, and free of stains. * **Center Hole:** Please note that the original four-prong plastic center piece was historically punched out (dinked), standard and very common for 1960s jukebox or multi-changer play.

The record will be housed in a protective poly sleeve and shipped inside a professional, heavy-duty rigid cardboard record mailer with cardboard stiffeners to prevent bending.
