AUCTION
This auction is for mega rare Canadian only 1st edition pressing of the Winnipeg's garage rock band 45 by The Action titled You're Gone. On the Studio City Records Label SC 1048. The Howie brothers Brian & Bruce moved to Winnipeg in 1965 and formed the band named The Action with Rennie Siriani on drums and Jerry Crowder on bass. Betrween 1965 and 1967 they performed continuosly in the Winnipeg area and eventually landed a recording contract with Studio City records in Minneapolis, Minnesota and recorded the You're Gone 45 at Kay Bank Recording Studios. This 45 is rarely offered for sale and is highly sougfht after by Winnipeg60's garage rock collectiors worldwide.
The 45 is in vg- condition with lots of light scratches.. The 45 played thru on my dual 410 turntable but with some surface noise. Side 2 label has the name of the previous owner. Low starting price for this Winipeg garage rock rarity.
