The Afghan Whigs - Gentlemen LP +12" (UK issue, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr. EX)

This is an LP + 12" by The Afghan Whigs called Gentlemen, released in the UK by Blast First in 1993.

Wikipedia:  The Afghan Whigs are an American rock band from Cincinnati, Ohio, originally active from 1986 to 2001. They have since reformed. At their peak, the group – with core members Greg Dulli (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rick McCollum (lead guitar), and John Curley (bass), as well as various drummers (including Steve Earle and Michael Horrigan) – evolved into one of the leading groups of 1990s alternative rock, rising up around the grunge movement but ultimately transcending it. Evolving from a garage punk band in the vein of the Replacements, Dinosaur Jr., and Mudhoney to a literate, soul-inflected post-punk quartet, the Afghan Whigs would ultimately become one of the most critically acclaimed alternative bands of the early 1990s[1] and one of the early pioneers from the American indie underground to exploit the support of major labels.[2]

Called "more than just a footnote in the annals of the Nineties alternative scene"[3] by Rolling Stone, Afghan Whigs albums like 1993’s Gentlemen would place on numerous critics’ polls as one of the greatest albums of the ‘90s.[4] In the band’s fifteen-year career, lead singer Greg Dulli would also gain a reputation as one of the most notorious frontmen in rock, both for his provocative behavior and dark lyrical subject matter.[5]

VINYL:  EX             Both records are very nice and shiny with some faint paper marks only. 

LABELS:  EX           The labels have a couple faint spindle marks on each label.  There is no wear, stains, sticker marks or writing. 

INSERT:  EX          The insert is also extremely nice with some faint corner wear only. 

SLEEVE:  EX           The sleeve is very nice with some slight corner/edge wear and a large spot of visible sticker residue on the top right corner.

POSTAGE COSTS/TIME:   Ebay is not my primary employment and therefore I cannot get to the post office every day.  I will post within 5 business days of cleared payment.  Please make sure you are happy to wait at least 6 days (UK) for your item before bidding.   I do not post on weekends or holidays.

Email for combined postage rates.  I use heavy mailers with stiffeners and plastic sleeves which are included in the postage.  All items will have Proof of Postage.  Anything over £30 will be sent recorded delivery which is £0.95 extra within the UK and £5.15 in addition to normal postage charges for the rest of the world.  Special Delivery is available upon request.   This will cost more so please ask for estimated postage charges before you buy.     With apologies to our buyers, we have had to increase postage costs in response to a massive increase in postage by Royal Mail.  We still only charge what it costs us + a few pence for the cost of packing materials.

RETURNS:  Quite simple:  For any reason you aren't happy, send it back to me.  If I messed up - full refund including return postage.   If I didn't mess up - refund of purchase less postage.  Email me with anything,  I'm flexible so just give me a chance to work things out.   

ITEM CONDITION:  All items are used unless otherwise stated.  I do my best to describe everything as accurately as possible but I'm human and do get it wrong sometimes.  I will happily accept returns with full refund + postage when the item is received in the condition it was sent.  I am using the Record Collector grading guide and only visually grade.  Any records I'm not sure about, I will listen to and note in the description.
