Description

The Allman Brothers Band, At Fillmore East, Orig UK Atlantic G/fld Db LP VG+/EX!

Description

Original UK Atlantic label stereo 1st press double LP, with the earliest A-1, B-1, A-1, B-3 matrices and side 1 is coupled with side 4, while side 2 is coupled with side 3, but the labels denote side 1 with side 2, and side 3 with side 4 and complete with the inner sleeves!

The matt sleeve is intact & in VG+ condition, with some light corner/storage wear, but there is some sellotape residue on the corners & a name in biro on the back. The spine is intact and fully readable and the company inners are intact and in EX condition.

The records are in visually EX condition, with no scratches or nasty marks & only a few very faint sleeve removal hairlines & a needle scuff on record 1 and a couple of faint sleeve removal hairlines on record 2. The labels are in EX condition, clean & bright with evidence of a few spindle markings on each side and a name in biro on each record!   The sound reproduction is EX, still clear & precise throughout with no loud pops, hiss or crackle & definately no skips, sticks or jumps, just some very brief background noise on the run in grooves before the music starts and overall a really great, loud & punchy listen!!   The matrix nos. are; 2402035, A-1, stamper 1-2-3, B-1 stamper 1-1-3, 2402036, A-1 stamper 1-1-4, B-1 stamper 1-1-4. This is one of the very early copies of the first pressing of the original UK stereo issue of this classic 1971 album!
