The product is a rare promotional double LP record by The Allman Brothers Band, titled "Live at Fillmore East". It features a white label design and falls under the genres of rock and blues. This vinyl edition is a special release for DJs.
This is a rare white label (Capricorn) promotional DJ copy of "The Allman Brothers Band at Fillmore East" It's not the mono promotional copy - this is the full stereo pressing. One of these sold last year (2024) on eBay for $808.
The vinyl discs have some scuffing & scratches but overall the playback quality is impressive. There's 1 skip on side 4, at the very start of "Whipping Post" that doesn't detract much -- otherwise, side 4, like the other 3 sides, plays quite cleanly, with only minor occasional pops & clicks that are mainly at the very start of the playback, in the first 30 seconds or so. Overall, the vinyl discs are in better shape than the paper sleeves & the cardboard album sleeve, which are only "fair". My take on the vinyl is that the minor scratches & scuffs are from mishandling but that this album wasn't played much.
I'm setting a fairly low "buy it now" price of $50 - the vinyl has some imperfections but overall the playback quality is quite good; the sleeves are beat. The comparable double album did sell for over $800 last year, though I can't access the condition of that copy when it was sold.
