Description

This is Bud Powell first recording with Blue Note. Recorded in August 9, 1949 with Fats Navarro, Tommy Potter, Roy Haynes, Sonny Rollins, and May 1st, 1951 with Curley Russell and Max Roach. Original issue as a 10" record in 1950, this record was issue in 1955 with 7 new songs. Including UN POCO LOCO" or "A Little Crazy" and Glass Enclosure inspired by his near-imprisonment in Oscar Goodstein apartment after being leaving Mental Hospital. I played once to confirm condition and quality.


USING THE GOLDMINE STANDARD FOR GRADING:

GRADE/COVER: VG, no marks or scratches, spine is split about 6" on bottom, other than this very good condition.

GRADE/RECORD: VG++ VERY minor surface noise if any (I did not hear any) clean and smooth.
