The Amazing James Brown and the Famous Flames Original 1961 KING Records# 743. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Only played on Dual 1219 turntable with Shure elliptical cartridge using 0.75 gm tracking force; stopped playing when CDs were introduced and stored vertically to prevent warping. There is a 2" split on bottom edge of cover/sleeve, but otherwise album is is great shape. The 60-year-old paper sleeve is browning, but that is to be expected. This mono album is one of James's first releases and contains some great songs. The sound quality is excellent! Although James Brown was an R&B specialist, he was able to break into the pop scene without changing his style...touted as the hardest working man in show business! His music will last forever.
