Description

This listing is for a rare self-titled album LP by the band The Amboy Dukes featuring a young Ted Nugent.
It was released in 1968 on Mainstream Records ?with catalog # S/6104.
This is the stereo version of the album.
This is the initial first pressing and not a re-release.
The band's sound was very much within the genres of Psychedelic Rock, Garage Rock, and a little Blues Rock

The record itself is in generally good condition with just some surface scratches and wear, but those haven't dulled the finish too much and it plays generally free from distortion.

Surface noise is there but not overly pronounced.

There is also some dust/dirt and finger print smudges, but a thorough cleaning would remove that and probably brighten the sound even more.

The sleeve is in what I would call very good condition with minor shelf wear but no ring wear or covert fading at all.

The top left corner has been notched, which indicates it was possibly a promo copy given to a radio station or record store. That, or it was marked down at some point by the record company and sold on clearance at stores.

Stored in a smoke free home, out of any direct sunlight, and away from any extreme temperature changes.
