For auction is a scarce Alberts records “A” lable promo issue of The Angels - "Take A Long Line"
This issue was sent out to radio stations to promote the release of the bands second album "Face To Face" in 1978 so is far more scarce than the regular issue records. The large "A" on the label is the indicator of a promo issue, and it is not evident on the regular issue release.
The record has quite a bit of scuffing but no deep scratches. The "A" label itself is in great condition with only one nick as can be seen in the scan and no sticker residue or writing on it as you often expect to see on a 42 year old radio station promo.
The B side is "Love Takes Care" and has a similar scuffing to the "A" side, however this label is in very good condition, showing only a little wear from being played and returned to sleeve.
Recent auctions has seen the regular issue of this record priced at $15-25. The low start price of $15 has this rare "A" label record priced to sell!
