This great sounding UK 1st mono pressing of their classic R&B debut studio album dates from initial September 1964 release
On the black & blue Columbia label: 33SX 1669

Housed a front laminated 'Garrod & Lofthouse' printed mono cover, complete with original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex...' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENTClean, glossy playing surfaces bearing nothing more than a few light, wispy marks directly beneath halogen light. With just a small handful of well-aimed spindle trails around each centre hole, it is clear that this copy has been little played. the sound quality is clean and clear with all of the group's energy and power retained in the unworn grooves. There are no clicks, pops or any other audible issues anywhere on this well looked-after disc.
Cover: EXCELLENT
Storage all its life in a plastic sleeve has protected this cover from most of what the past 55 years has thrown at it. The front panel laminate is glossy and unscratched, bearing just a a single small 'thumbnail' wrinkle. There is minor wear to the corner tips & opening edges but no tears or heavy bumps. The rear panel is clean, white & unblemished with just a hint of toning towards the mouth. All flipbacks and seams are intact and the spine is clean and fully worded.
