Description
Original pressing of The Animated Egg on Alshire Records — a cult psychedelic rock project known for its heavy fuzz guitar, swirling instrumentals, and experimental grooves. A true underground classic of late 1960s psych, issued with the striking marbled jacket design.
Condition: Vinyl shows light to moderate surface scuffs but still plays with that raw, trippy sound. Jacket has edge wear and corner wear, typical of age, but retains strong colors and visual appeal. Labels are clean and legible.
From the private collection of a Detroit disc jockey, this copy may exhibit telltale signs of professional DJ use — such as small tape reinforcements on wear-prone sleeve edges and faint etched dates in the deadwax. These marks aren’t defects; they’re provenance, evidence that this very record once blasted fuzzed-out psych rock to teenagers at the height of its original popularity.
