Description
There are several printings of this double LP from Aphex Twin, but this one is a 1995 black vinyl pressing. The bar code on the back reads 5411659150353, which is the 1995 Belgium print version. I did purchase this used back in 2004, so I cannot claim to know all of its history, but I only played it six times (not every track, but that's the number of times a needle has touched either of the two sets of wax) and I am very careful with my vinyl.
Important note about who I am and my feelings about my records: Please keep in mind that I am an avid record listener/collector, and not a record dealer. I am pulling these prized possessions off of my large custom-made record shelf in my living room and packaging them up to ship once they're paid for. I have listened to ALL of my records at least once (unless they're sealed, of course), so if you find any fidelity issues (crackles, pops, etc) that you feel aren't acceptable, then we simply have a difference of opinion which won't be resolved by anything I can do (I am an adamant collector who understands the pitfalls of listening to vintage vinyl, and I feel that my taste in sound quality is just as good as anyone else's), and I won't be interested in buying the vinyl back at my loss. That said, when I say a record is in good condition, it's the opinion of a long-time collector who knows what conditions are supposed to be like for any given record (depending on the age, print house, and original pressing quality). I am a very careful collector who has always kept dust jackets on each record cover, and I keep all of my vinyl in my living room, well away from any possible sunlight, and at a perfect 70 degrees Fahrenheit (+/- 5 degrees). This is part of my collection that I am selling in order to fit our stuff in a smaller place. I hate selling any records, as it's like I'm parting with family, but I am doing what needs to be done. Again, just so there is no mistake: I am not a dealer, I am a dude who has been collecting records for 30 years and can no longer keep all of them. My loss, your gain, and such. Hopefully your home will be a good one! If you win multiple auctions within a week of winning the first one (I won't hold things forever of course), I will package and send them together. $6 for the first record and, 50 cents per record after that. Double LPs count as two records (it's a weight thing). Bid away!
9/4 EDIT: Just re-listened to both records and they are in top shape. Please note the price sticker that's on the upper right side of the front cover. It's from 15 years ago, and my feeble attempt at removing it just turned it slightly gummy. No damage to the cover though. Well, no more than the sticker itself, anyhow. Cheers!
