Up for sale is a very rare vintage 7 inch 45 rpm vinyl record by an obscure doo-wop band issued by a very small label.  This is the original release from 1959 and features a couple of killer songs!

Other Side:  I Love You Darling (The Apollos), Harco Music (BMI), 2:20  [The marking on the wax runoff on this side is:  M6060.]

There have been several bands with the name "The Apollos".  I don't think this single was recorded by "The Apollos" from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, an early 1960s doo-wop group that recorded on the CITE label, with Paul Stefen as the lead singer.  I Love You Darling was posted on YouTube by PJDooWop (PJNoce), who requested listeners to supply more information about The Apollos.  This post has generated 45 comments.  Some of the respondents have speculated that the group was from New Jersey, others that it was from Pittsburgh.  No one was able to provide the names of any of the group members.

I was unable to find anything out about the composer of "Bandstand Baby" (J. Mann).  This is a different song than another of the same name also recorded (in 1959) by Jan & Jerry on the Metro Records label.

According to the website of Global Dog Productions, Harvard Records 45 rpm discography consisted of about 12 singles, with numbering starting at 801, and all apparently released in 1959.  Another website mentions that Harvard Records was based in New York City and owned by Art Gottfried.
