Rare Funk 45 Autographed by Waymond Hall of the Apollos
The Apollos "Soul Funk-tion" Rare Soul Funk 45 b/w Waymond Hall "What Will Tomorrow Bring?". The good news is that this is one of the rarer and hard to find funk singles that is on a lot of want and play lists. The not so good news is that there is a hairline crack going through 40 percent of the single from the edge going towards the center. It is not a good thing but if you Listen to the audio sample and you will find out that you can barely hear the pop of the crack because the funky music obscures.
This is a great funk instrumental song on one side and kind of a vocal version of the same song on the other side sung by Waymond Hall. This single has been autographed by Waymond Hall himself to Dr. Jester Hairston, who was an actor, singer and composer of African American Christian Gospels and Spirituals. The Condition of the record is VG to VG+ with the above mentioned crack.
The last time that this record sold in auction on Ebay was for slightly less than 700.00 USD on Feb 28, 2007. See the link below.
