Description

The Applejacks - s/t LP Unboxed Decca 1st Issue

Rousing 1964 beat pop LP on Decca.

It's in the kind of condition you might expect, however it's that tough old '60s mono vinyl and it's just been deep cleaned so if you play it with an elliptical stylus it still sounds really good and there's hardly any surface noise. There was no distortion and it didn't skip or stick once. That's the thing about '60s records, they were generally played with such large and blunt tips that there's still virtually pristine vinyl at the bottom of the groove - the old tips couldn't reach it!

Anyway, it still grades VG- at best but, like I say, play it with decent equipment and it'll come to life! The sleeve is a good VG, it spent many years in a plastic sleeve being protected.
