*Postage Update*
I am changing the postage from the first lot I put up on Saturday. A single 78rpm will now be sent firts class small parcel costing £3.85. If you are buying multiple records from my auctions I can post up to 5 for £6. If you wish to buy more than 5 please get in touch before paying as I will need to work out the best price and way to get them to you. Welcome to my auction, with a heavy heart I have decided to pass on a large amount of 78rpm records. My hope is to put around 25 on an auction still listing a day. All records I sell will have a visual grading and a guarantee that I have played the record through on my HMV 130 Gramophone. My gradings will go as follows.
E+
Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny scuffs from being slipped in and out of sleeves.
E : Excellent
Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E- Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scratches.
V+ is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V : Very Good
Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages. Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.
All listings I put up over the next few weeks will have a very modest £1.50 start price, I want them all to go to a good home so no point in over pricing myself and relisting them for weeks. Every photo will be of actual record you will receive (no stock photos) Finally happy bidding.
