AW assoc inc. AW-1000 Saint Thomas Seminary Hannibal MO.
Vinyl - VG (marks, scuffs and tiny surface scratches) Plays out and has very good sound quality, but you will hear some surface crackle here and there, but nothing really harsh or overbearing. Overall it's a clean record with a nice gloss, and it plays out pretty nice!
Labels/Cover - VG with good looking labels and a nice looking cover, but with some wear around the edges and at the corners. There is some fading and small stains on the front and back as well. The cover is holding up well, and it's not wasted by any means. Looks pretty good to me for being from 1968!
Well, this is The Aquinos, and if you're looking at this auction you are probably already familiar with the sound and style of this record. I would say it's a combo of some surf rock, and some garage sounds coming out of the late 60's scene. They play all covers from the 1960's pop and rock artists of the time.... The guys are not bad, but they are not Dick Dale and the Deltones either (if you know what I mean). This is a cool period piece of some private midwest surf rock sounds (coming out of a Seminary in MO of all places)! This is a fun record to add to any collection!
