Description
This exquisite LP by Astrud Gilberto, released by Verve in 1965, is a must-have for any vinyl record enthusiast. With songs blending Big Band & Swing, Latin Jazz and Pop, accompanied by the brilliance of conductor Marty Paich, this album is a true gem of the era. The high-fidelity music is stored on a 12" black vinyl record, with a cardboard sleeve in excellent condition.
The LP's cover is the original edition of the first release, with the sleeve grading at an excellent (EX) level. The record grading is a very good plus (VG+), and it comes from the first edition of the LP. The album's production was under the supervision of Creed Taylor, and it features songs in English. This LP is a rare find, with features including stereo sound, 33 RPM speed, and an array of other aspects that make it an outstanding addition to any vinyl record collection.
The record is in very good condition and plays well. Cover jacket also in excellent condition with the original plastic sheeting over the cover. Astrud worked in association with Stan Getz for much of her career. On this album she works with Antonio Carlos Jobin. Please see photos for verification of condition.
