Beschreibung

The Atomic Bitchwax never heard a fuzzy psych-metal riff that they didn’t like. You could label them “stoner rock” except that there’s a little too much exuberant energy on display on T4B to qualify as such. Continuing their gradual slide towards more cohesive songcraft, the band displays surprisingly sunny (albeit a hazy sunlight) set of vocal harmonies on songs like “Daisy Chain” and the arena-rocking “Sometimes Wednesday.” That’s not to say they’re still not capable of an epic cosmic freakout. Both “Super Computer” and “Giant” ride the spirit caravan into extended blues-boogie guitar explorations worthy of Sabbath or Blue Cheer.
