Up for sale is one (1) The B-52's - Cosmic Thing LP from 1989 on Reprise Records (#25854-1). Comes with the original lyric insert. STILL IN THE ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAP WITH THE ORIGINAL HYPE STICKER.
This LP is becoming increasingly harder to find. In the late 1980's vinyl was being phased out for CD's. Has MASTERDISK stamped in the dead wax on both sides.
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL PRESSING FROM 1989. NOT A MODERN DAY REISSUE, 180 GRAM RE-RELEASE OR ANY OF THAT RECORD STORE DAY CRAP. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL / VINTAGE LP.
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition. Nice clean labels. I recently played this LP and sounds AWESOME.
The cover is in EXCELLENT condition with typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, creases and ring wear, etc...
The original price sticker is still attached to the shrink. The Jackasses at Rolling Stone Records in Chicago used these very large price stickers that were very difficult to remove.
The shrink wrap is a loose fit. lThere are no tears in the shrink wrap and the Hype Sticker is in Excellent condition.
The lyric insert is in Very Good+ condition but does have a small split at the bottom.
I obtained this LP new from Rolling Stones Records in Chicago in the late 1980's or early 1990's. It was gently played just a few times back in the day. I haven't played this LP in over 30 years. It has been in storage ever since.
