Please see the item description for a thorough condition report. Also use pictures to see what you will be purchasing.
I accept PayPal for payment, which must be made at time of purchase. Once payment is received, I usually ship within 24 hours.
I am offering a discount of $1 off of each record when you purchase two or more albums from me at the same time. (Album lots or double albums are treated as one album and will receive $1 off only.)
I ship via United States Postal Service Media Mail which takes typically from three to eight BUSINESS days to deliver. If you want me to use a faster shipping method, such as Priority Mail (1 to 3 business days), please contact me for the cost.
I can combine record purchases for a total of 4 albums in a carton. The first album costs $3.50 to ship, then each record after that costs 50 cents more, for up to a total of $5 for four records. Let me know if you are purchasing other albums from me so I can hold the shipment, if you wish, until all your purchases are complete and can be shipped together.
I carefully pack the albums I sell—the record itself is removed from its cover and wrapped separately in a temporary “sleeve.” I provide added cushioning and support for the container, and I make sure there is no movement within the carton, which is specially made for albums.
I also attempt to provide accurate and detailed condition descriptions of the albums I sell. I always provide information about the cover, the album and even the inner sleeve, when available (although considered an accessory only and not considered relevant to the overall condition description), based on visual inspection and (often) sound testing.
If a customer is simply unhappy with a purchase, however, I do accept returns for refund if notified with 14 days of delivery. The buyer must carefully repackage the album so it will arrive in the same condition as when sent and is responsible for the cost of the return postage. Once the item has been returned, I will refund the buyer’s purchase price and original shipping cost.
If you have questions, I will be sure to respond within 24 hours.
Thanks for looking at my listing.
I have rated this album as Excellent using the following grade descriptions.
STILL SEALED (SS) Never opened; still sealed in cellophane.
MINT (M) Opened, but doesn’t look like it was ever used. Record and cover are perfect.
NEAR MINT (NM) Nearly perfect—looks like the album has been handled or played only a few times. Records are shiny, with no visible defects and are very clean. The label will be unblemished and in perfect condition and there won’t be any “spindle marks” at the center hole. If played, there will be no surface noise. Near mint covers are free of creases, ring wear, rub spots, seam splits, punch holes, etc. Cover images and colors will be clear and bright. Will show almost no handling or storage wear of any kind.
EXCELLENT (E) Less than nearly perfect, but not much less. Only minor surface wear seen; perhaps one or two light scratches or scuffs seen but nothing that affects the listening quality. There may be some slight warping to the record, but it will have no effect on sound quality. A few marks around the center hole. Use seen in the label but no significant loss of color, no marks, only a tiny bit of soiling. No significant surface noise. No skips, pops or strong hissing. The cover will show only the lightest soiling, may have slight creasing, a few rub spots, minimal edge wear, the lightest ring wear and the lightest of wear to the corners. Stickers may also be on the cover, but will be original to the package.
VERY GOOD (VG) There will be more noticeable surface wear; numerous light scratches and/or scuffs, more groove wear and soiling. The labels will have more and noticeable spindle marks around the center hole, there might be noticeable soiling or color loss and there might be some pen marking. The inner sleeve should be original but will show more creasing, some splitting (perhaps on more than one side) but not more than 2” wide, and some color loss. When played, there will be evident but not pronounced background noise, some light pops and crackling may be heard. A VG cover will have moderate ring wear and edge wear, creasing and more rub spots, seam wear may include a split (less than one inch long), there may be a punch hole, some soiling, defacing and/or stickers placed by previous owners.
GOOD (G) The record will have heavier surface wear--most of the gloss will be lost, groove wear will be evident on sight and there will be lots of scuffing and numerous scratches, some that might be able to be felt. Soiling and finger prints will be very evident. The labels will show strong spindle wear, there might be an owner’s name in pen, a sticker or other marks placed by a former owner. The inner sleeve will either not be original, or if original, may have significant creasing, color loss, writing, wear and/or splitting. When played, significant surface noise will be heard such as noticeable crackling, hissing and popping, perhaps a slight slip on a word, perhaps a tiny skip in a song or two, but nothing that overpowers the overall enjoyability of the music Good covers will have moderate to strong ring wear, edge wear—there might be splitting occurring, heavier soiling and marks, indentations, scrapes, heavy corner wear and heavy creasing. There might also be writing or a worn price tag or price tag residue and perhaps more than one non-original sticker.
