The BEATLES.  ‘Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’

Parlophone MONO PMC 7027.

XEX 637-1/638-1

With KT embossed on side 1 label.

UK 1967 Pressing, complete with RED PSYCHEDELIC inner sleeve and Cut Out Insert.

LP: Visually, very clean with a few superficial scratches (more noticeable on side 2). The LABELS are bright and clean with fewer than average spindle markings. AUDIO is a strong VG plus, hardly any clicks and ticks, even in the quiet and silent parts. There are  3 or 4 louder clicks at the end of ‘Good Morning, Good Morning’ which are noticeable but the rest of the LP is virtually silent. But it does have a WARP when it plays, however this does not affect the playback of this LP but it does look a bit wavy on the turntable. There are some well established cures for warped records on YouTube videos etc, but I will leave the LP as it is!

The RED inner bag amazingly has no edge tears or rips but is a bit creased and has some ageing marks, however it is a very good example. To preserve this rare, original inner sleeve the LP has been stored in a plain white inner.

The dark green cutout insert is in near perfect condition.

The flipback GATEFOLD cover is in very good condition. The spine is clear and intact. There is some corner wear acquired over the decades and a 1 cm tear and some other slight wear on the back cover where the record goes into the sleeve, however this is quite minor and does not spoil the overall gatefold itself.

Overall, a very good copy of this 1967 classic.
