The BEATLES Amiga 8 50 040 East German Democratic Republic GDR Original LP 1st Pressing 1965
You're bidding on a Extremely Rare LP by The BEATLES on the Amiga Label issued in East Germany in
January 1965 by the GDR German Democratic Republic on their state owned label. It's a compilation LP
and was only issued in Mono. Very shortly after this was issued, the East German government decided that
this music was not good for the people and it was banned. The GDR didn't change their decision till the early
1970's and the next Beatles album wasn't released till 1974. There are reissues of this LP from the 1980's but
this is the Original 1st Pressing. The Record is in Excellent condition with some very light surface scratches that
are Not audible and it plays perfectly. The Cover which is printed on soft paper is in VG++ condition with No
splits or tears. Just some rub marks on the spines and some small creases. Some folks list this album title as
Big Beat but that's just the title of a different album advertised on the bottom of the back cover. If you like
collecting Unique Rare BEATLES import albums they don't get much rarer than this !!
