Sleeve
The original Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve is in excellent condition. It is very nice and clean with only the tiniest amounts of corner wear, barely noticeable. The laminated front is bright and clean with the outline mono text. The only flaw is a small mark on the front cover which can be seen on the photograph. Edges are all unworn with only a tiny amount of wear on the opening. The back of the non-laminated sleeve is close to near mint – nice and white and clean with absolutely no writing or evidence of finger prints, very unusual for this part of the sleeve which often shows its age. The flip backs are also in superb condition and have not shrunk at all. This is the best flip side of this particular sleeve that I have seen in twenty years of collecting. The spine is clean and clearly legible – the only flaw is a dink about 2 thirds the way down the spine. Overall an excellent collectable example of this sleeve which has been kept in an LP case in dry, smoke-free conditions with one careful owner.
Record.
The thick, quality vinyl record is in excellent condition; it sits perfectly flat on the turntable and retains its bright lustre. Visually excellent under bright light except for a couple of superficial lines on side 1 which do not affect play in any way. The sound is superb throughout – bright and clean with only a tiny amount of noise between tracks and in quiet moments. There are absolutely no loud pops, skips or jumps or anything else to spoil your enjoyment of this superb album. I have just listened to it on my Pioneer deck and it is a thoroughly excellent, enjoyable listen throughout.
Labels are also excellent with all text bright and clear and absolutely no writing. There is some spindle wear on both sides.
Original ‘Use Emitex Cleaning Cloth’ inner in very good condition with some creasing.
This Lp will be very carefully packed in a strong card mailer to ensure it arrives in this condition. Immediate refund provided in rare event that a customer is not entirely satisfied. Please bid with confidence and see feedback for excellent references. Thank you for looking.
