The BEATLES
LOVE ME DO

This is one of three copies I have listed, so if you are bidding please have a look and decide if there is one you might like

1962 1st pressing 45-R 4949 7XCE 17144-1N / 17145-1N MPZT 1-GO (scratched out AD, common on this pressing run) / 1-GO

Bit of a strange one this. It looks rough but produces a surprisingly decent sound quality
Please bear in mind that top copies of this rare, red label 1st issue, can sell for £500 - £600
This copy is worth nowhere near that amount but audibly it does sound better than most on offer

Visually:
FAIR
Side 1: There are many fine handling lines but only one that looks like an actual needle line Side 2: More marked than side one, with scuffs as well. No beauty contest winner

Audio:
VG+/EX
Fantastic sounding copy which defies its looks - lovely clear sound with no pops or clicks on the songs - tiny background crackle completely overpowered by the music - hard to find a better sounding original - if you can ignore the visuals this disc will not disappoint

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Labels:
VERY GOOD
Undamaged and no unwanted writing - sticker residue - many spindle trails, more so, side 2

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cover:
VERY GOOD Original company issue - age related handling signs but no seam splits

I will be listing more Beatles records, so please have a look
