A comparatively inauspicious start for this little unknown beat combo! ......and of course now highly regarded as The Fab Four's modest beginning landmark!
In it's chart success, and Sir George Martin's view a reasonable start - he was enthused by the new idea for him - of producing a pop group instead of only comedy spoken word and old style big band records.
Indeed, he suggested that their next release should be the jaunty "How Do You Do It", his projected possible 'number one' hit 45. Well in fact it WAS number 1 - but for Gerry and The Pacemakers!
Anyway The Beatles were off the starting line and certain they had more to offer than a cover tune, and didn't they do well!
'Please Please Me' got them much more attention and sales.
Here then is the rare edition of this landmark debut 45 - an essential original single from The Beatles.
CONDITION;
The VINYL is VG+ with a little light scuff.
Plays well, and the music dominates.
Red & silver text LABLES are VG, both sides have felt tip markings, no stickers.
Included earlier Company COVER is VG+.
